Ashley owns and operates LeoandLola from her home in Davenport, Iowa. She is a work at home mom of two sweet loves - Leo and Ruby. She started out adding cute handmade appliques to onesies, but has ventured into dress making - something she's proven to be great at! The thing I LOVE about her dresses is that she uses shirts no longer loved - perfect upcycling! And they could not be cuter! She continues to add cuteness to her line with ruffle bottom bloomers, seed packet onesies, and bubble skirts. She sells her handmade goods at the local farmer's market.

Ashley gave me three items to review: an upcycled dress, an appliqued t-shirt, and a ruffle bottom bloomer. Each one is unique and outrageously cute! All three items fit our two year old, Abigail. I could not be more thrilled with them! The upcycled dress is definitely my favorite, her's too! She LOVES the pink flower Ashley created on it! I love the over all fit and look of the dress. It fits her like a glove. She gets a lot of compliments on it. Since I didn't hook up with Ashley until there were only a few nice days out, Abigail wears it every time the weather is above 70! It is just darling!!

She also gave us a sweet appliqued t-shirt. It has a super cute little hedgehog with a button eye. I love that it's gender neutral and something she can wear all winter long with a sweater over or long sleeve under. Abigail is super happy about the button eye! It's well made, something I know will last for the next few kids to wear, too! We have a few other shirts with appliques from LeoandLola that are stored away in their appropriate size bins for the next kid. They really have withstood anything my girls can dish out!

Last, but not least, we received a ruffle bottom bloomer. This is seriously to die for! I really wish it was warm out, she'd be wearing just her bloomer all the time! For now, she loves to wear it around the house. I never thought I'd be the mom who's kid just runs around naked though it's 40 degrees outside. But apparently, that's me. Luckily, she has a cute little tushy cover! Just like everything Ashley creates, this is super well made and well fitting. There are two little coordinating ruffles on the booty. I love how unique it is!

    I love that dress. I've just set aside several of my hubby's old shirts to upcycle into night gowns for my girls. I'm not good enough at sewing for them to be day dresses. This one by Ashley is definitely well done.
