KangarooCare owned and operated by Varja, a work at home mama of two located in Estonia. Her shop features a wide variety of beautiful handmade nursing necklaces, necklaces for littles and teethers. The wooden beads and buttons she uses for her necklaces are hand crafted in Estonia. I love that she's using products local to her!

About PRODUCT

The necklace I received from KangarooCare is just absolutely beautiful. It was so hard to narrow my selection down to just one, but I'm so happy with the one I chose. The crocheted flower and beads are so cute and perfect for busy little fingers. The raw, wooden beads are one of a kind and also beg to be investigated. I love how it looks even if I'm not nursing! I've gotten so many compliments on it, people are surprised that it also has a function. I also really appreciate that it's adjustable.

As you may know, we use a supplemental nursing system. This means that there is a tube running from a bag of extra milk to my daughter's mouth. Even at 11 weeks old, she is CONSTANTLY grabbing the tube and yanking it out which has two results. One is that milk goes everywhere and the other is that we have to relatch with the tube in place yet again! I can only imagine that this will get worse the older she gets! Our new nursing necklace provides some much needed distraction. I'm so grateful for it! She loves to pinch the flower and grab at the beads. The only draw back is that a few times she's fallen asleep with a bead in hand and when I go to lay her down, she wants to take it with her!
